Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Rework bench presets so they punish one-note strategies: tighter and wider extremes, multiple values changed at once (face size AND dice rank AND caps together), tight cash with high churn, giant deposits with tiny loans, etc. Presets should force interactions to vary and expose structural weaknesses, not just retune knobs.
Part of #28 (the midterm).
Presets reworked into 13 multi-variable stress configs (tight-cash, cash-glut, deposit-drought, rate-war, default-storm d6, patient-market d100, bond-economy, micro-economy, mega-loans, thin-margins, hot-caps, duel) sharing one benchPresets() between bench and gauntlet. Bench v5 on them: mill 880, vault 210, adapt 202, empire 2. PR #41 open; its CI run failed on the build.yml checkout bug (depth-1 clone cannot checkout a branch SHA), fix PR assigned.
Done: PR #41 merged to master, CI green on the fixed checkout workflow. 13 punishing multi-variable presets are the bench landscape now, shared by the round-robin and the gauntlet. Bench v5 under them: mill 880, vault 210, adapt 202, empire 2; gauntlet still shows loan-bond-spec at 241 wins across 11/13 presets, which is exactly the signal #39 now has to act on. Closing.
